2011 Office of Community Renewal Funding Materials

2011 OCR Application Webcasts:

The Office of Community Renewal(OCR) has recorded a series of application webcasts for all programs included in the 2011 NOFA.

The first of the series is an overview of the structure of NYS Homes and Community Renewal (HCR) and the programs administered by OCR, the OCR 2011 Notice of Funding Availability, and new funding strategies and initiatives. Each program specific webcast will include a discussion of each program and the application requirements and review process. The entire series of webcasts will be posted to the website and will available for viewing until May 28, 2011 for the competitive programs and will remain available throughout the remainder of the year for the open round programs. Interested parties should refer to the website to familiarize themselves with the agenda items.

How to Access the Webcast

Each webcast will be available in Windows Media Player format on the HCR website. This format is compatible with most audio/video software. As the webcasts become available, links will be added below. Please click on the applicable link to view the webcast.

Technical Assistance

To provide potential applicants with an opportunity to discuss a specific project, program or application, Office of Community Renewal staff will be available from January 21, 2011 through the application deadline dates. Please email all questions on the content of the webcasts to HCRInfo@nyshcr.org. Questions will be responded to directly and included in a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) sheet. The FAQ sheet will be available on the HCR website, http://www.nyshcr.org.
