Request for Proposals For Supportive Housing Projects For High Cost Medicaid Populations
Hurricane Sandy has caused widespread damage throughout our region. While efforts are still underway to assess the full scale of the damage, we expect the storm will have a significant impact on many sectors of New York State's economy.
In light of these circumstances, HCR is extending its deadline for Unified Funding Applications from November 29, 2012 to January 8, 2013.
HCR staff continue to be available to assist in the development of applications. Prospective applicants are encouraged to schedule pre-application technical assistance meetings to discuss their projects. Staff contact information is available on the HCR website and is also included the July 2012 Notice of Funding Availability published in the New York State Register.

2012 Medicaid Redesign Team (MRT) Housing Capital Program-RFP for Supportive Housing Projects
Governor Andrew Cuomo formed the MRT in 2011 to reduce Medicaid spending and reform the system. The MRT has set aside $75 million to expand access to supportive housing for high- need, high-cost Medicaid recipients and maximize savings by leveraging public and private investments. HCR's Housing Trust Fund Corporation is making $32,300,000 available through this RFP.
