     FY 2005 Service Coordinator Program For Multifamily Housing


On March 21, 2005, HUD issued a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for the FY 2005 Service Coordinator Program for Multifamily Housing. The Service Coordinator Program provides funding for the employment and support of Service Coordinators in insured and assisted housing developments designed for the elderly or nonelderly persons with disabilities. Service Coordinators help residents obtain supportive services from the community that are needed to enable independent living and aging in place. You can review the Management Agent Handbook 4381.5 REVISION -2, Change-2, Chapter 8 for further guidance on service coordinators. This Handbook is accessible on HUD's Web site at http://www.hudclips.org under Handbooks and Notices.
